Where We Eat: Tayyabs

One of the quirks of hospitality life? Christmas parties in January!

On Monday, we spent the afternoon tearing around a karting track in East London (turns out some of us are very competitive) before heading off for a feast at Tayyabs in Whitechapel.  If you’ve never been, it’s an absolute institution—rightly famous for its sizzling lamb chops, of which we ordered a lot!

The less said about the evening from that point onwards the better for all concerned!

But it was a real treat to have the whole team together, to celebrate the past few months, and to properly kick back for a change!
