Where We Eat: Dough Hands

The London food scene is obsessed with two things: the “best” burger and the “best” pizza. If you follow the food blogs, it can all get a bit tedious…especially when the current top pick is on the other side of town or involves something needlessly complex to elevate what should be a simple, affordable pleasure
Right now though, as luck would have it, the most talked-about pizza in London is just around the corner. It’s made by the lovely team at Dough Hands, who are currently in residence at The Old Nun’s Head in Nunhead and we can confirm that it’s cracking!
100% worth a visit, especially as it’s served in a pub…so you can enjoy a proper pint with your pizza!
This residency won’t last forever, sadly. But when it ends, there’s always Theo’s in Camberwell, which (in our view) serves one of the best pizzas in London anyway. And even better, you can pair it with a pitcher of Kernel Table Beer — the perfect match!
